Your game, your device, your data — nowhere else
Green Hat: Memory Match is designed to stay entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data — full stop. Everything you do, from flipping cards to unlocking hats, happens locally and never leaves your phone.
01Information We Collect
Nothing. There are no accounts to create, no sign-up, and no name, email, phone number, or location is ever requested. We run no analytics and don't fingerprint your device. Your progress — matched pairs, move counts, completion times, and unlocked hats — is generated and kept only on the device you play on.
02How We Use Information
Because we never collect anything, there is nothing for us to use, read, analyze, profile, or sell. Every feature — shuffling boards, counting moves, tracking the timer, awarding bonus moments, and saving hats — runs fully on-device. No information about how you play is ever sent to us or anyone else.
03Data Storage
Any data the game needs to remember your progress is stored locally, in the app's own space on your device. There is no cloud account, no remote backup, and no server that receives a copy. Even fully offline, the game works exactly the same.
04Third-Party Services
The app contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers, and no embedded marketing SDKs. We share nothing with partners, because no data leaves your device to share in the first place.
05Data Security
Keeping everything local removes the most common privacy risks at the source — there's no central database to breach and no transmission to intercept. Your progress lives in your device's protected app storage, only as accessible as your device itself.
06Children's Privacy
The app is safe for players of every age. Since we collect no personal information from anyone — including children under 13 — there's nothing about a child (or anyone) for us to gather or expose. This approach is consistent with COPPA's intent.
07Your Control
You're always in full control. Your hats, scores, and game state belong to you and stay on your device. To remove everything the game has saved, simply delete the app — with no cloud accounts or external backups, uninstalling clears your data completely and permanently.
08Changes to This Policy
If this policy ever changes, we'll update the text here and revise the Effective Date above, so the most recent version is always the one you see. Our core promise — no collection, no storage, no sharing — is not something we intend to walk back.
